At first we were taken a little aback by the uncharacteristic mix of world music styles for these “Spanish” songs, not being previously aware of such fusion here in Spain. We wondered about the intended audience and if other Spaniards would enjoy the music, not being your typical Spanish music - or at least definitely not your classical Spanish music.

By the return part of our trip we were all enjoying the music, playing our favorite tracks over and over, trying to sing one song in Catalán, and trying to decipher another in Basque. Regardless the tongue, all the songs were enjoyable and we fell in love with the entire CD as a whole.
