Papa is a British-Kenyan singer-songwriter whose music reflects a wide range of influences gathered through a life of travel and performance. Rooted in church choirs and Afro-inspired gospel, his style also draws from flamenco in Andalusia, blues, funk, jazz, and improvisational collaborations across Europe. His recordings, including Distance (2019) and Legacy (2022), showcase an openness to blending genres into soulful, rhythm-rich songs. “Grow Old Together” was co-written with Anatu and Andres Acevedo, who also contributed to the production alongside Andrew Ace.
