Vincent Muller and Marianne Feder record together under the name Vicente e Marianna, a duo rooted in acoustic songwriting and vocal harmony. Based in France, both artists come from backgrounds in jazz, song interpretation, and Brazilian-influenced repertoire. Vincent Muller is a guitarist and arranger whose playing draws from bossa nova and jazz guitar traditions, while Marianne Feder is a singer grounded in French chanson and jazz phrasing. Together, they focus on intimate arrangements that place melody, lyric, and vocal interplay

at the center.

Vincent and Marianne originally composed the song “Dernier Rendez-vous,” featured on Putumayo’s Acoustic Europe, for a multimedia project of sound and film. They are joined by musicians Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot, who gracefully interpret a poetic and melancholic bossa nova.

“J’entends cette musique” (I Hear That Music) is a classic of French chanson first recorded by France Gall in 1963 and covered by many others over the years. Written by Robert Gall with a melody inspired by the 18th century “Adagio in G Minor” by Italian composer Tomaso Albinoni, the song expresses a quiet faith that love will someday arrive.“I hear this music / This sweet music / That keeps telling me / The day will come / The day when I will love him / My great love on his way / To take me by the heart / And carry me away to happiness.”
