“Xamá” (a name suggesting tranquility and mystery) was originally featured on their 2025 debut album Danzón Brothers, Vol. 1. The track features the charango, a small Andean stringed instrument known for its bright, chiming tone, layered over gentle, syncopated percussion and ambient textures. The result is a serene yet subtly rhythmic piece that

balances stillness with movement. By blending organic world instruments with modern production, the Danzón Brothers create a soundscape that invites calm reflection while carrying the listener forward on a quiet, melodic journey.

Originally released in 2024, “Descendente” (Descendent) features Barracuda on electric, acoustic, and Spanish guitars as well as charango, a small Andean lute traditionally made with an armadillo shell. Weeks contributes guitar and Afro-Latin percussion, adding earthy textures and groove. The track was composed and recorded between New York and London and draws inspiration from South American and Mediterranean rhythms.
