Zalam Kao (Canada)

Zalam Kao is a Montreal-based collective formed by five musicians whose backgrounds span jazz, funk, soul, and world beat traditions. Brought together by friendship and a passion for collaboration, they channel their diverse influences into a sound that reflects both global inspirations and their local community. The group includes producer & mixer Clovis Lamarre (Tchobis), singer & rapper Antonio Dorsaint Manigat (Ogou Rayfé), multi-instrumentalist MoMo, Brazilian-born guitarist and bassist Lucas Melo, and singer-songwriter Edaï Larobina. Their debut single, “Tout Pour Toi,” released in 2024, resonated with francophone audiences and was followed by the double single “Entre nous” in early 2025.

“Tout Pour Toi” (Everything For You) combines layered vocals with guitar, upright bass, keys, percussion, drums, and trumpet.
