Tereu is the solo project of Matheus Andrighi, a singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from southern Brazil. After spending two decades in the country’s north, he relocated to São Paulo in 2018 and began building a career that blends music, visual art, and performance. Active for over a decade in the Brazilian music scene, Tereu has worked as a producer, arranger, and performer alongside other artists. In 2025, he launched his debut solo album Música pra enxergar de novo, a personal and reflective work that captures the existential tensions of a generation shaped by digital saturation and social instability.

“Feito Besta” (Like a Fool) is a track from that debut album, delivering a mix of introspective lyrics and experimental production rooted in Brazil’s vibrant electronic & alt-pop movements. While the arrangement features dreamy textures and syncopated grooves, the song’s tone is existential and self-aware, pairing digital-age disillusionment with ironic detachment. “I lie in my bed like a fool / The sadness consumes me / I beg ChatGPT / For God to come pick me up in a drone.” Through this unexpected blend of humor and heaviness, “Feito Besta” captures a uniquely contemporary sense of longing.
