Originally released in 2021, Tûtu sings “Neriusaaq” (Hope) in Kalaallisut, also known as Greenlandic, an Inuit language that is the official language of Greenland. The song is a heartfelt expression of resilience amidst life's struggles. “The rainbow within you / Gives you hope / It’s okay, you are human / Do you need warmth? / There is fire in your heart / Are you a friend of the light? / For there is hope in you / You are human.”
The Café Nomadica track,“Qamani,” is a meditative, synth-tinged ballad sung in Greenlandic that gently contemplates the act of letting go. The lyrics speak to resilience in the face of emotional struggle: “I leave behind the hardships / The ones that my heart cannot bear / I will overcome the hardships / The ones that my heart cannot reach.” The refrain, “Qamani, qamani” (Inside, inside), evokes a quiet turning inward. Carried by soft vocals, glacial ambience, and restrained beats, the song feels both intimate and expansive—a sonic landscape where vulnerability becomes strength.
