Sheffy Oren Bach is an Israeli singer-songwriter who studied music, singing, and art with teachers around the world during an itinerant childhood spent among different cultures. She sings primarily in Hebrew, drawing on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean folk elements, and released her debut album, Eve, in 2021. Beyond performing, she works as a music healer, leading healing music sessions and work-shops around the world. Her songs explore themes of cultural connection, personal transformation, and the search for balance between different traditions.
Featured Songs:
Her track “Derech (Way)” is sung to a child, perhaps to her daughter Yahna, explaining to them the challenges and beauty of the world: “Come, sit by my side / Let’s stare at the night that shines of stars / We also feel scared when we're alone sometimes.”
“Bayit” (Home) was originally released as a single in 2024. Oren Bach recorded it with violinist and oud player Sefi Asfuri Hirsh and double bassist Gal Maestro. The Global Tranquility song imagines a home built out of a landscape that generates a closeness and sense of place that extends far beyond the limits of four walls. “Be my home with a garden and a piece of sky / Be a window so I can breathe you at night / Draw me a path that leads from you to the Mediterranean Sea / Be for me, a good land for me.”
