Saravá is a genre-blending trio whose music traces a path from Afro-Brazilian rhythms to the Middle East and beyond. Led by Israeli guitarist and composer Dudi Shaul, who draws on his Iraqi-Jewish heritage and a lifetime of cultural migrations, the group creates music that feels at once rooted and borderless. Alongside drummer Ben Ben Franklin and bassist Omri Porat, Saravá began as a tribute project to Brazilian guitar legend Baden Powell. Over time, it evolved into a broader celebration of diasporic sound, drawing global acclaim for its innovative grooves and soulful aesthetic. The band’s name—Saravá—means both “cheers to life” and “the force of nature,” capturing their deep emotional intensity & joyful musical spirit.

“Rua do Arvoredo” (Tree-Lined Street) is a wistful and poetic meditation on memory, longing, and the ephemeral nature of inspiration. Featuring the tender vocals of Brazilian singer Feu Marinho, the track flows with lyrical saudade and rhythmic restraint. The lyrics reflect a journey both musical and emotional: “Dreams, sounds, illusions / I carry them wherever I go / The guitar places a flower where there is pain.” With its subtle instrumentation and expressive delivery, the song becomes a quiet ode to beauty in transience.
