Santiago Carvajal (Costa Rica)

Santiago Carvajal is a Costa Rica–based singer-songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist originally from Uruguay. Now living along Costa Rica’s South Caribbean coast, he draws inspiration from the region’s tropical climate, cultural diversity and relaxed pace of life. After years of performing with international artists across five continents, he began focusing on original music that blends global rhythms with messages about living simply, staying connected to nature, and honoring community values. His songs reflect a fusion of Caribbean styles, Uruguayan candombe and other world music traditions, shaped by his coastal environment.

“Sin Prisa” (Without Hurry) is a reflective, feel-good song that encourages slowing down and embracing the present moment. It features guest vocals from La Nefera, a Swiss musician of Dominican heritage whose work blends Latin American rhythms with hip hop and spoken word.
