Sainte-Croix is a songwriter, performer, and producer who grew up between Paris and Montreal, navigating dual cultures and diverse musical landscapes. He began performing in Montreal clubs at age 15 and went on to build an unconventional career playing in casinos and luxury hotels across Asia—including Macau, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. These global experiences inform his fusion of independent urban music with French chanson, shaped by years of live performance. In 2025, he released Fond de Laptop Vol. 1, a deeply personal project composed of early demos written between 2005 and 2015 and reimagined with producer Benny Mestizo. The mini-album reflects a decade of introspection, filtered through the lens of soul, groove, and storytelling.
Featured Song:
“Sirène” explores themes of solitude, burnout, and emotional clarity with a blend of funky rhythms and smooth R&B textures. The narrator reflects on exhaustion and self-discovery, retreating from noise and illusion: “I turned off the sound, the voices / Nothing resonates in me anymore / I finally accept the emptiness.” The lyrics explore emotional exposure and
release, as the song moves between surrender, silence, and the healing power of music.
