“Sou” (I Am) blends traditional samba rhythms with a modern, soulful arrangement and a warm, resonant vocal delivery. Through metaphors rooted in nature—such as water, wind, and the sea—the lyrics affirm her existence and strength in the face of pain and adversity. “I am the source of my living / Nobility, beauty, and love / I’m not the same as you, no sir / My song is of peace, not of war.”
