Rahel Giger is a Swiss singer-songwriter whose work bridges poetic songwriting with cross-cultural collaboration. Raised in Grisons and now living in Lucerne, she crafts multilingual songs that embrace themes of nature, identity, and belonging. Giger’s debut album La Pluma features an international lineup of artists including Senegalese kora master Moussa Cissokho, whose melodic harp-like lines bring a West African depth to her compositions, and Argentinean tango legend Daniel Melingo, known for his gravelly voice and literary lyrics. On this remix, they are joined by OXIDIX, a Swiss DJ and producer celebrated for his genre-bending sound and global sampling.

“Mi Casa – OXIDIX Remix” transforms the original into a pulsing, atmospheric meditation on home and self. Giger’s vocals drift over Cissokho’s shimmering kora, while Melingo’s spoken verses add Argentinean gravitas and OXIDIX’s beats provide a grounded modern pulse. The song explores what it means to belong, rooted not in geography but in shared humanity and connection to the earth: “I have nothing / I share everything / With the wind / And nature / That I am.” The result is a soulful, border-crossing celebration of place and spirit.
