“Sirenita Bobinsana” is a serene invocation to the Amazonian plant spirit Bobinsana, envisioned as a river mermaid whose presence purifies and heals. Written by Ecuadorian musician and medicine song carrier Arturo Mena, the song honors traditional plant wisdom through a gentle, flowing melody. “Little mermaid of the rivers, dance, dance with the wind / With your flowers and aromas, perfume the hearts / Heal, heal little bodies, cleanse, cleanse spirits.” Orka’s tender interpretation invites listeners into a sacred space of reflection, gratitude and connection to the natural world.
