Featured Songs:
The Latin Café song “Nada de Nada” (Nothing at All) will be appearing on NUNNE’s new album. It is an ode to the eyes of her deceased friend that inspired the upcoming album. “Nothing at allyou tell me / With your gaze / Your eyes so gray / Your tongue is tied, you don’t speak / And you expect me to fall in love?”
On the heartbreak ballad, showcased on Putumayo's Global Women “Vuela” (Fly), NUNNE sings, “Fly, my soul. Even though it hurts us / Amid so many clouds, I didn’t know where to go / And, amid so much crying, I couldn’t find how to say goodbye to you / Fly, my soul. Even though it hurts us / And, with so much peace that I remember you / I love you, my soul.”
On the Latin American Women track, “Demasiado” (Too Much), NUNNE sings about the challenges an extravagant personality can cause in a relationship. “Oh, they say I’m like the sea / But the sea inside my head / Is so much foam, tide, and salt / And it really overwhelms me / How exhausting / Oh, wherever I go / You get dragged along / By how much I give / They tell me that I am / Too much.”
