Originating from picturesque Achill Island in County Mayo, Ireland, The Achill Sound is a musical collective inspired by the rich musical tradition and unique cultural heritage of the island. The project is spearheaded by musician Graham Sweeney in collaboration with producer John Michael Berry. Together, they celebrate the island's cross-generational talent and breathtaking landscape through a fusion of Irish traditional music and storytelling. Their album Isle of the Eagle features an array of local storytellers, musicians and singers and captures the essence of Achill's folklore and traditions.

The Achill Sound’s relaxing instrumental track “Go N'éirí An Bóthar Leat” translates from Irish to “May your journey be successful,” a traditional way of wishing someone good luck.
