Swing de Gitanes is formed by guitarists Yaakov Hoter and Alon Sagi with Oren Sagi on bass. With their impeccable interpretations of French classics, you'd be surprised to learn that the band hails from Israel. Counting Django Reinhardt as one of their greatest influences, they demonstrate the continuing international appeal of manouche jazz, which has aficionados spread widely around the globe.

With three albums under their belt and hundreds of live performances across their fifteen year career, Swing de Gitanes has mastered the classic French sound while also incorporating elements of the Arabic, Russian, Ladino, Mediterranean and other flavors that are part of Israel’s diverse musical and cultural mix.
