On this rendition of the Tom Petty song “Wildflowers,” originally from Forest Sun’s 2022 album Follow the Love, Sun is joined by singer Lia Rose on backing vocals. “You belong among the wildflowers / You belong in a boat out at sea / Sail away, kill off the hours / You belong somewhere you feel free.”

Written during a stay in Austin, Texas, his Acoustic Coffeehouse track, “Precious Days,” unfolds with a gentle melody and lyrics that explore gratitude, love, and the passage of time. Featuring guest vocals by Lara Louise and the guitar work of Gawain Mathews, it was originally released as a single in 2024. “Our time is short / These are precious days / Let’s make the most of them / The jokes we tell / The songs we sing / Will never feel this way again.”

Featured on Reggae Dance Party, “Keep on Rollin’” finds Forest Sun in a contemplative yet hopeful mood, blending his folk roots with a touch of reggae rhythm and soul. A lifelong musical explorer, Sun has cited the Toots and the Maytals album Reggae Got Soul as a life-changing influence, and that warmth and positivity shines through here: “Even when it’s hard / Even when it’s rough / I believe we can find a way to be.”
