Czesare & Eva De Marce

Czesare & Eva De Marce

France / Mexico

Emma Cesari, who goes by the stage name Czesare, is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Provence, France. Her musical journey was influenced early on by her father, a drummer who enchanted her with his jazz and ignited her love for the guitar from a young age. Czesare has developed a distinctive guitar-vocal style, ranging from funky tunes to more introspective melodies. Through her music, she invites us to delve into the exploration of her identity, narrating tales of her romantic adventures and drawing inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes that surround her. Czesare's unique artistic universe has already captivated the attention of established artists like -M-, Feu! Chatterton, and Cats on Trees, who have each invited her to open for their shows.

"Hechicera," Spanish for "sorceress,” is a collaborative effort between Czesare and her dear friend, Mexican singer Eva De Marce. "Hechicera" explores the profound connection between two women bound by tenderness and sisterhood. It reminisces about the sweetness of shared childhood moments that now face the challenge of distance. This heartfelt ode to feminine love is delivered in their native languages of French and Spanish, with their sweet melodies delicately intertwined with a languid and tropical instrumental backdrop.
