Manish Vyas is a renowned Indian musician celebrated for his unique contributions to fusion music. Born and raised in Gujarat, India, in a family steeped in musical traditions, he grew up surrounded by the rich heritage of classical Indian music, devotional kirtans, Sufi melodies, and folk rhythms. A gifted singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Manish seamlessly blends ancient spiritual sounds with contemporary elements, creating music that resonates globally. In yogic practice, a bandh is a physical lock used to direct the body’s energy toward the higher chakras; mahabandh combines several of these locks at once to release energy stored in the lower body. The Global Tranquility track is built around the languid melodies of the bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute, and is intended to draw the listener deeper into the practice as it unfolds.
