LÕ is the duo of Laura Bujard and Tim Dahan. The tilde accent mark over the “o” in their name is meant to represent a wave. Laura grew up in Charente-Maritime on France’s southwestern Atlantic coast immersed in music, producing her first album of children’s songs with her guitarist father at 16. She spent summers singing her own songs on the beaches of Fouras, a small seaside town near La Rochelle. Tim trained at the Conservatoire de Laval and works as a pianist with a jazz background and an interest in world music. The two met in Nantes, and five years ago began performing for hospitalized and chemotherapy patients through the association Les Échappées. Their 2026 debut EP INSPRATION blends a clear lead vocal with warm rhythms, percussion, guitars, and backing vocals for an acoustic, engaging sound.

The song “INSPIRATION” surfaced from Laura’s notebook while the duo prepared to record a different song, and she decided on the spot to record it instead. The lyrics circle around an insistent melody: “It’s getting stronger and stronger / Inside me / You’re in my head / Everything that remains there /Never stops / That’s how it is.
