Kosmik Band is a dynamic international collective of musicians from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, China, Costa Rica and beyond, blending sacred mantras, Latin grooves, African rhythms and global traditions into a vibrant sonic experience. The group is led by Argentine producer and Playing for Change veteran Enzo Buono, joined by artists including Spanish guitar virtuoso Twanguero, Brazilian bassist and environmentalist Nanan, acclaimed Argentine drummer Sergio Verdinelli, Costa Rican pop artist MishCatt, Argentine singer and indigenous music advocate La Charo, and Chinese vocalist and sound healer Jin Wu. Each member brings a distinct cultural and musical voice, yet together they create a transcendent and unified sound grounded in peace and connection.
Featured Songs:
"Chanda Mama," featured on Putumayo's Cultural Crossroads, is based on a traditional South Indian folk song in the Telugu language about the moon. "Moon, come to me / Hug me, kiss me and follow me / Even when I'm sulking and needy / You always give me your love and your support."
The Dream World song, “Sarvesham,” is a gentle, meditative interpretation of a traditional Sanskrit benediction meaning “May there be well-being, peace, completeness and auspiciousness for all.” With soft layers of chant, soothing harmonies, and subtle instrumentation, the track invites the listener into a reflective space. Blending ancient spirituality with a contemporary global sound, “Sarvesham” serves as both prayer and offering—an expression of hope for inner calm and universal harmony.
