Gift OFA (the letters stand for “Of Africa”) is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist originally from Edo State and currently based in South East London. Drawing inspiration from icons such as Fela Kuti as well as contemporary stars like Wizkid, Gift OFA integrates personal experience and cultural identity into his songwriting. In addition to his musical pursuits, he works in the clean energy sector and maintains an active performance schedule. After dropping his first stage name, LipsyBaby, following trademark dispute, he released the Ebun-Oluwa EP in 2024 under his current name. The EP gained recognition from Colors Studio, a feature in GQ South Africa, and other reputable press outlets.

The track Majo was produced by Darcebeat, and incorporates Pidgin English, Yoruba expressions, and references to contemporary Nigerian social life. The lyrics describe aspirations tied to financial success, braggadocio and romantic attention. The chorus emphasizes the phrase “Majo,” which translates loosely to “keep moving” or “dance,” aligning with the song’s funky and club-oriented style.
