Fula Manding, born Abdoulie Keita in Bansang, The Gambia, is a Guinea-based singer, songwriter, and composer known for blending Afrobeats with traditional Fulani and Mandingo musical influences. Active since 2014, he has released two albums— Fulbe Africa and Fulladou Culture Telly—and developed a distinct style that incorporates the kora and the

Fulani flute (tambeng). His music often promotes peace, cultural pride, and unity, while also serving as a tool for entertainment and awareness. Fula Manding operates under his own label, Ongsalminaama Music Prod, and is preparing for the release of his third album in 2026. His multilingual approach—often combining Fulani, Mandinka, and French—reflects both his heritage and his message of inclusivity.

The track “Djaka An” (Come Back) is a rhythmic and emotionally layered song that interweaves multiple languages and musical traditions. Featuring contributions from African star Saifond and produced by Elcamoriano, the lyrics mix Fula, English, a little Wolof and French to explore themes of heartbreak, miscommunication, and emotional resilience. “I only loved you, you only loved me— why is it no longer like before?”
