Fei Scho (Germany)

Fei Scho is a Bavarian band known for blending global musical influences with local tradition. Founded by guitarist Martin Lidl and bassist Anschi Hacklinger, the group now includes Robert Alonso (trumpet and horn), Helmut Sinz (accordion), and Schorsch Karrer (percussion). Their latest album Weltensprung reflects their signature mix of styles—from Andean yodels and Brazilian polkas, Bavarian ballads and Caribbean-flavored zwiefache, a traditional southern German and Austrian dance form. The album's title suggests a leap between worlds and embraces musical and cultural change. Fei Scho integrates African, Latin American, and European chamber music elements, creating compositions that often evoke film soundtracks.
