DJ Farrapo, the stage name of Italian musicologist and producer Giorgio Cencetti, has been a pioneering force in the Globalbeats and Electro-Swing scenes for over 25 years. With more than 2,000 performances across Europe—including at Montreux Jazz Festival and Exit Festival—he blends traditional world music with contemporary dance rhythms. His acclaimed releases, such as Alien na Favela and The Nu Swing Experience, have earned international recognition and airplay on stations like BBC and RAI. Farrapo has remixed artists like The New Mastersounds and Ojos de Brujo, and his work has been featured in the U.S. series Shameless and the video game Cartel Tycoon.
