Inspired by artist-activists such as Nina Simone and Woody Guthrie, singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton’s catalog careens through American popular song, from folk and swing to pop-punk protest anthems. Blanton has released eight albums since 2005, the most recent being 2024’s After the Revolution, produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester. Beyond her musical talents, she is also a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, using her platform to promote positive change. With her unique mix of humor, soul, and political wit and fifteen-plus years on the road, Blanton has amassed a dedicated fan base and a small menagerie of viral hits.
