Originally trained as an architect, Paris-based singer-songwriter Aure Delaroière turned to music as a more direct form of expression, embracing a minimalist, multilingual approach to songwriting. After releasing her debut EP a few notes (2023) on Mayway Records, she began performing across Europe, including tour support for Andy Shauf and Tom McRae. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Sibylle Baier, Jessica Pratt, and Nico, Aure crafts intimate, stripped-back songs shaped by quiet intensity and poetic restraint. Her debut album Printemps (2026) reflects a period of transition and renewal, weaving together French, English, and Spanish as fluid reflections of identity and memory. With voice and guitar at the center, she creates a sound that feels both rooted and in motion.

“Mi Corazón” (My Heart) unfolds as a meditation on emotional disorientation after a breakup, where languages blend the way memories do. Moving between tenderness and unease, the song evokes the image of a tightrope walker suspended above uncertainty. “Which of us two was wrong / A bit of both a bit of no one / My heart / Like a tightrope walker / The wire is fragile / I’m afraid of falling.” As echoes linger and isolation sets in, the refrain turns inward: “There was no one left / Wounded in the heart / Everything was disillusionment / I also ask you for forgiveness.”
