Featured Songs:
On the Global Dinner Party track “Timide” (Shy), Villoutreix explores the dreams and insecurities of an introverted performer. The song reflects his internal struggle between aspiring for greatness and feeling paralyzed by shyness. “I dreamed of a career / As a popular singer / Recognized, adored / From Paris to Broadway / I dreamed of grandeur / And that only those who dare / Would come to shower me with praise / Every night in my dressing room / Yes, but here I am, shy, shy, shy.”
The French Groove song “Petite idée” (Little Idea), was co-produced with Super Antena Tropical, a creative production team known for blending retro tropical, cumbia, and indie dance aesthetics. The song is breezy and upbeat, carried by Afro-Caribbean rhythms and a playful energy that matches the spirit of its lyrics: “Let’s meet up tomorrow / I’ve got a little idea / I want to get out of here / Just you and me / Somewhere on Earth / Maybe where it’s hot.” Blending spontaneity with longing, the lyrics evoke the irresistible pull of warm nights, new places, and shared dreams.
